This makes the users happy that they save time on the dyno, the dyno shop happy that the tuning is straight forward with no hidden issues / knock etc, and ultimately the engine runs better and lasts longer. The costs associated with our tuning and the hours we spend creating maps and analyzing data (both dyno data and datalog data) are minimized as much as possible and are there just to add sustainability to our sport and hobby and to justify the time we spend to our families. If the map is good at that point we stop the tuning process, if there is still a problem we keep going. Our revisions are our guarantee that you will get at least this many revisions and at least this much time and averaging. If someone comes back 2 months later after adding a CAI etc, we charge $39 (current rates) to continue the tuning process where we left off, just to cover our time. A tune is only as good as the time you spend on it. If we exceed the revision minimums and there is still a problem with the tune (ie improper AFR, unstable STFT, high knock counts etc), we keep going until things are sorted.
